During a phenomenal retreat over this New Year in Mexico I was reminded how In every moment and way, Life is calling us to be who we were born to be. Perhaps like never before, 2024 will call and challenge us to be and live the truth of who we are.
In a purely existential sense, Life cannot ever be anything but that. For it holds the truth of the inseparable nature of all existence, whether understood as Source, Spirit, God, the Unified (quantum) field, Soul or by any other symbol.
In the most practical of ways the spiritual path is about being obedient to the truth of our existence. This means being obedient to the truth of the inseparable relationship that underlies every aspect of everyday Life experience. In a very personal sense this means obedience to the deepest Soul aspect of every being that always remains part of the inseparable nature of existence.
In every moment and way, consciously and otherwise we encounter our inseparable relationship with all that is, whether perceived through the lens of relationship with oneself, with others or with the natural world.
In every way and moment everyday Life is showing us where we are/ are not in alignment with its nature. Every interaction with another is reflecting a condition or aspect of oneself that Life is calling us to pay attention to.
To look deep into our hearts in every moment for alignment with that calling is to remember and live the truth of inseparable relationship. This is the surest and fastest path to true self-discovery and acceptance.
A seemingly justified resentment of another reflects a disconnect from the inseparable relationship of Life and calls for the healing of that disconnect. However, as individual will chose the resentment in the first place it can only be healed by surrendering that choice to the Source of all Life in whichever way that is for you. It is very simple. It is only our insistence on using free will in a self-serving way that makes it feel hard.
May 2024 be the moment you allow yourself to receive the abundance of Love of inseparable relationship that ever-patiently waits to simply be invited. May God speed you on your unique and precious journey deep into the freedom to be and express who you truly are.
